Goals:

Classified approximately 500 pillow lava units with trend, plunge, dimensions, vesicularity, and mineralogy

Collected rock samples along the quarry walls for geochemistry work in the laboratory
-
Analyzed thin sections of igneous rock with cathodoluminescent microscope
-
Created detailed maps of quarry walls using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and GIS technology
