Position: Student Researcher at COP20 with the Dickinson Global Climate Change Mosaic, Senior Research Thesis Site with OVI and Dickinson
Goals:

To better understand the role of climate change education, public participation, and outreach within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)

To communicate with, present, and collaborate with Peruvian geology colleagues

To analyze lake sediment core in order to reconstruct paleoclimate in southern Peruvian Andes

To better understand regional vulnerabilities to natural hazards (i.e. earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, lahars, etc.)

To create a field map of sampling locations utilizing ArcGIS

To present preliminary findings at the annual Geological Society of America conference in Baltimore, MD
